I have Nikon D80 camera and the lens is AF-S Nikkor 18-200mm | 3.5-5.6 G ED. What I want to do is to shoot my glass tumbler right when it is breaking up. I have been trying so hard for almost a week. I ask my brother to drop a glass tumbler on the floor, and I shoot it. I have not yet got the right shot. I have wasted a lot of glass tumblers, thank god they are not expensive in here.
Can any one tell me a mathematical formula or a scientifically precise method, that I can perform to calculate and sync it with my camera settings, and achieve the shot of breaking a water glass?
